My Background

Author, speaker, facilitator, and communication specialist, I open the door to each client’s potential.

I’ve extensively studied and lived my own self image questions; I now focus my writing and teaching on issues of awareness, personal health, and prevention. Inspired by life's challenges, my workshops—including A Body Like Hers, Living Inside Your Skin, Mindful Walking, and Walking Your Grief—foster an environment rich with learning and discovery.

A Feldenkrais® practitioner (Certified, 1996) and speech pathologist (MS, University of Oregon, 1986), I’ve spent the last decade blending my communications and other life experiences with my understanding of the Feldenkrais work.

As an experienced guide and fierce advocate for the integration of self, I am now firmly convinced that awareness of one's current patterns combined with one's hopes and motivations to make change provide the starting point for reclaiming what can be.

I urge all my clients to accept what has been, reclaim what is and step into what will come.
