I’ve
always been fascinated with how people think, move, and
behave. Growing up, I was surrounded
by adults struggling to make a comfortable life, often
with great anxiety and I wondered if life could be different.
Then for some years, I worked with clients who had difficulties
communicating with others. After many years and countless sessions,
it became clear that each person’s motivation, intention,
and desire played a significant role in whether they improved.
Finally, I stumbled onto the
Feldenkrais Method® and became
fascinated with the concept that one's self-image affects how one
improves, changes, and behaves in the world. Not only that,
but an individual can guide his or her own learning process
and move away from old habits or injuries to experience
deeply lasting change.
Now, my work is to help my clients understand the
processes of change and observation, stretching their
self-awareness skills and teaching them the language of
awareness and self-image. To do that we use actions such as
breathing, walking, and communication, to develop a larger
repertoire of choices in any given situation. We work toward
a greater sense of satisfaction and enjoyment of all the
activities they pursue.
My mission is to help my clients open to what will
come.
Workshops and Lectures
The potential for change within a group is amazing. We focus on discovering
each participant’s curiosity for living more fully. Then, we expand
that possibility into relationships and vocation with all the richness of
our intentions. workshops
Individual Sessions
In the privacy of one-to-one sessions
we focus on your specific needs. Your history and movement
experiences provide a place for us to begin creating
a plan of action, for you. We delve into your issues
and bring satisfaction into your
life. FAQs
Essays, books, and tapes
My work, largely about change,
hope, and personal transformation, is inspired by years
of telling my story through my actions, emotions, and
speech. By putting my ideas on paper and CD, the possibility
of sharing them with others expands.
